How many passengers do you carry?

For comfort, I will carry up to 3 adult passengers. Airport runs tend to be longer in distance than local taxi work. I limit passenger numbers to make the journey more comfortable.

What is the luggage capacity?

I allow for 3 standard-size suitcases and 2 carry-on size cases. Alternatively, I allow 4 carry-on sized luggage.

What is your area of coverage?

I cover the South Wales region. From Cardigan Bay in the west to Chepstow and the borders in the east. From the South Wales coast in the south to Brecon and Aberaeron in the north.

Do you offer an out-of-hours taxi service?

Sadly no. As an independent private hire driver I need to ensure adequate rest periods to keep you, as a passenger, and myself safe and attentive. My working hours are between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm in general.

Do you provide airport meet and greet service?

Yes. For an optional charge, I will meet you inside the airport or cruise terminal with a name board. 

Do you transport unaccompanied minors?

Yes. I am happy to provide specialist unaccompanied children transport to and from airports. This will involve some extra paperwork for the airlines – I need written parental permission to collect children from airlines and also to drop them off. You will need to book unaccompanied minor tickets with the airline for this service. I often pick up and drop off children at the many private schools in South Wales. With this service, I escort the child to the booking in desk or collect them from the airline desk.

If you are booking for an unaccompanied minor I will send you my private hire badge and full contact details which you will need to pass on to the relevant airline so they know who is picking up the child.

Where do we meet at the airport or cruise pick-ups?

For standard pick-ups you will need to call me once you have cleared luggage and customs. I will be parked about 5 or 10 minutes away depending on the airport. I’ll then come and collect you. Meeting points vary depending on the airport by you will be informed of the meeting point on confirmation of booking.

For meet and greet customers the meeting point will be at the airport terminal, please look for your name board as you enter into the terminal from the customs or passport area.
